When I was walking in my neighborhood a few weeks ago, I found a piece of a flier from the No Kings rally. I love that this piece stuck around for a couple of months waiting to be found and that I was called to add "NO KIN" to make it complete.

I have a most generous friend that has been giving me beautiful paper ephemera that comes from many years ago. I find myself thinking of both the recipient of the piece of the card I incorporated into my art, and the sender that chose to sign off with, "Well Bye Bye for this time."

Adventures!

I painted this while hanging out with my wonderful artist friends here in Eugene. I'm so, so fond of them and love our adventures, not only with art media, but also exploring museums and galleries, going out for coffee/tea, and meeting for lunch. Here's to many more adventures!

Of note with this piece, when I was out walking my dog, Ellie Mae, I found the scrap of paper that says "ntures!" on the ground by a recycling bin. The vintage paper beside it that says "adve" (written by me) was given to me by one of my friends mentioned above.
