I painted this while hanging out with some artsy friends. It was based upon a bouquet I was lucky enough to be asked to arrange at a dinner party with some lovelies. I hadn't done a still life in forever, so it was really fun to dip my toes (or paintbrushes!) back in and challenge myself to make sure I could still do it. So much fun!

And I've already started a mockup using this piece as a the cover of a journal.

A Plea for Calm

Calming Chamomile

This piece really touches my heart. To create it I used something I found that was discarded and was deeply personal to someone else. I have no idea who they are, but their words are the basis of this piece. I'll go into more detail in a "Behind the Canvas" post on Patreon.
