For my Boys

I was incredibly honored when my sons commissioned a painting. They told me the color scheme and set me free. At 36"x48" it's my biggest commissioned piece yet. And I'm happy to report that they really like it!

Fancy Red Hat

Sometimes life calls for a fancy red hat.

 

This was created on a piece of scrap wood that I'd used as a paint pallet and a pen tester for quite some time. It is rich with texture. I stared at it for the longest time before I added the face and other details and the red at the top kept insisting that it become a hat.
